Independent architect Louise Wong asked me to visualise her studies about homeless communities in Hong Kong. My task was to illustrate the design principles of the shelters and to create a book.
I illustrated the homeless shelters and their designs from photos and autoCAD plans. This book is designed for regular non-professional readers to understand with ease. The illustrations need to explain the reasons why the homeless community would build their own shelters the way they are.
A Manual For Creative Citizens: Design Study of Hong Kong's Self-Built Communities is an independent study about temporary shelters built by homeless communities.
